Mineral-based Paint Built For Durability
Thanks to its naturally high alkalinity, Lime wash naturally resists mould, mildew, and even certain bacteria. Unlike many synthetic paints, it’s free of harmful chemicals. Limewash absorbs CO₂ as it cures, something no other paint can do! EPODEX’s Limewash Paint is highly breathable and allows moisture to pass through. This helps regulate humidity levels and contributes to a healthier living environment.
Instructions for use
- Ensure that the surface to be painted is clean, and free of imperfections.
- If needed, prime the substrate with white wall paint.
- After priming, the substrate should be uniform, matte, and white.
- Pour 4 L water in a mixing jug, add 2 kg Limewash Powder and 100 g WB Pigment to colour the mixture.
- Mix thoroughly with a whisk until the powder is completely dissolved.
- Remix regularly while painting to prevent material from settling at the bottom of the mixing jug.
- Apply the first coat of Limewash Paint with a fine bristle brush.
- Apply the Limewash Paint with criss-cross strokes, creating soft “clouds”. Keep working each cloud while it is still wet and lightly feather the edges into the next one.
- Let the first layer dry min. 3h before continuing with the second layer.
